About Us
This Dictionary is an online bilingual dictionary created to bridge the gap between English and Hausa. It helps users find quick translations and short definitions in either direction: English → Hausa and Hausa → English.
Our Mission
The goal of this project is to provide an accessible, reliable, and easy-to-use dictionary for students, teachers, researchers, and anyone interested in learning Hausa or English. We aim to promote the Hausa language by making it simple for non-native speakers to understand and use.
About the Founder
Although the site sometimes uses “we”, in reality, this project is a personal initiative founded, developed, and maintained exclusively by Shamsuddeen Zakariya. Shamsuddeen currently lives in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. The dictionary began as a personal effort to help learners and has expanded based on user feedback.
