1. FIRST PERSON:

1. First person singular (mutumin da yake magana): i, me, my, mine.

Example:

I like football. ina son ƙwallon ƙafa.

Fetch me some water. ɗibo min ruwa.

My car spoiled on the road. motata ta lalace akan hanya.

That car is mine. wannan motar tawa ce.

2. First person plural (mutanen da suke magana): we, us, our, ours

Examples

We enjoy the movie. muna jin daɗin film ɗin.

We have a paranoia that society hate us. muna tsarguwa da cewa jama'a sun tsane mu.

That is our house. wannan gidanmu ne.

This house is ours. wannan gidan namu ne.

2. SECOND PERSON:

1. Second Person Singular: (mutumin da ake yi mashi magana): you, your, yours.

Examples

Do you love him? shin kina son shi?

Where are your parents? ina iyayenka?

That car is yours, i bought it for you. wannan motar taka/taki ce, na sayo ne domin ka/domin ki

2. Second person plural (mutanen da ake yi musu magana): you, your, yours

Do you love your parents? shin kuna ƙaunar iyayenku?

Where is your teacher? ina Malamin ku?

Is that house yours? shin wannan gidan naku ne?

3. THIRD PERSON

1. Third person singular (mutumin da ake magana akan shi): he, she, him, her, his, hers.

Abin lura! Duk wata kalma ta aiki (verb) data biyo bayan "third person singular" in dai har tana present ce, to akan sanya mata "s" ko "es" a ƙarshe (ya danganta ga irin kalmar)

Misali:

He prefers mobile phone to laptop. ya fi son waya akan laptop.

She describes her father as a tall man. tana siffanta mahaifinta a matsayin dogon mutum.

He embraces her. yana rungumanta.

Idan Kalma ta ƙare da s,x,ch, ko 'o', to za'a sanya mata 'es' ne domin mayar da ita "third person singular". Misali

Wash	She washes the trousers in her apartment.
Watch	She watches war film each night
Finish	She finishes on time.
Fix	He fixes the computer's errors.
Go	She goes to school 7 days a week.
Brush	He brushes his teeth daily.

Idan kalma ta ƙare da harafin "y" kuma sannan harafi ne kafin "y" ɗin ba wasali ba, to akan samar da third person singular ɗin shi ta hanyar canza "y" ɗin zuwa "ies". Misali:

Carry	He carries his daughter.
Study	She studies physics.
Fly	He flies up on plane

Amma idan akwai wasali kafin "y", to akan sanya "s" ne kawai domin maida kalmar third person singular

Kalma	Third person singular
Play	He plays football
Enjoy	She enjoys her company.
Obey	He obeys his parents.
Say	She says something

Amma waɗansu kalmomin sun sha banban.

First person singular	Third person singular.
I am	He is
I have	He has

Kalmomi irin su "shall, will, can, may, must, da kuma ought basa canzawa a third person singular.

2. Third person plural (mutanen da ake magana a kansu): they, them, their, theirs
Examples

They prefer orange to banana. sun fi son lemu fiye da ayaba.

That is their House. wannan shine gidan su.
