There are four known conditional sentences in English. Conditional sentences usually begins with 'if' to indicate something is contingent on something else
Akwai conditional sentences guda huɗu ne a turanci. Galibi suna farawa ne da 'if' domin nuna cewa abu zai faru ne kawai idan wani abun ya faru.1. Zero conditional sentences: are use to indicate what happens always. E.g. If you mixed black and white you get gray.
Ana yin amfani da zero conditional sentences domin nuna abin da yake faruwa koda yaushe. Misali 'idan ka gauraya baƙi da fari zaka samu ruwan toka kenan.2. First conditional sentences: Are use to express what is likely to happen in the future, although we aren't certain. E.g. If herdsmen attack farmers, they'll retaliate.
If you keep trying, you'll eventually succeeded.
Idan kaci gaba da jarabawa to zaka yi nasara daga bisani.
3. Second conditional sentences: Are use to indicate something that we don't think are likely to happen in the future. E.g. If he stayed with us in the night, he would sleep in my room.
If i had five millions naira, i would built a house in Abuja
If i built apartment in Abuja, i might let my family to relocated.
Zan gina gida a Habuja da ace ina da naira miliyan biyar.
Zan mayar da iyalai na zuwa Abuja idan na gina gida a gurin.
4. Third Conditional sentences: Are used to express that what happens now would never happened or would be different if other things happened in the previous time. E.g. I would never fell in love with her if i hadn't gone to Abuja.
Ana yin amfani da Third conditional sentences ne domin nuna cewa abun daya faru bazai faru ba da ace wani abu ya faru a lokutan baya.
